Changing cell phone ringtones is probably one of the first thing a person will do after obtaining their new phones. Society today demands that everything be customizable, this way everything a person owns and carries can become a reflection of that person. Cell phones are no different. Whats great about cellular ringtones compare to everything else is that when it rings, it will get you notice. Unlike a flashy purse where one must be facing your direction to take notice, when a ringtone sounds, everyone around you will take notice.

With all the new smart phones and touch phones rolling out, many out there are still just looking for a simple cheap mobile phone. Let’s face it, all the technology in the world is meaningless if you don’t know how to use it. For most people over the age of 45, trying to dial out on a touch phone can be quite the challenge. I’m not trying to say anything bad about them, but watching my mom try to make a phone call on her smart phone is becoming quite painful. Missed are the days of the Nokia 6800 where a simple phone call doesn’t require one of memorize a series of button presses just to reach the number pads.

Nokias 5800 XpressMusic, aka Tube, has much appeal but really does fall short of power users when you take a look at what they’ve done with the phone. Catering more towards the Asian market by introducing the resistive touchscreen with the 5800 XpressMusic, the 3.2in LCD figures a 640 x 360 resolution. The phone looks and feels like any other Nokia, good, but that’s it, nothing great. In the end, it’s simply a good phone made only to target the mid-range phones. A good new phone with minimal efforts by Nokia to make it’s software better.
